The Holidays are Finally Over

This was my very first Christmas, and it went by so fast!  I got lots of toys and clothes for Christmas, too!  I got so many toys that Mommy can't remember who got me what!  My favorite toy that I received, I got from Cousin Jenni.  It's a push walker that plays music.  I really like it because it's just the right height for me to stand behind and walk.  I get mad when I get stuck on something, though.  I like to have a clear path.  Here's a picture of all the toys I received for Christmas!

I have started to point to things that catch my eye.  I especially like the clock, the ceiling fan, the magnets on the fridge and the knob on the top of the post at the bottom of the stairs.  I have also started to shake my head no, but I don't really know what it means.  I just like to imitate Mommy when she does it.

Over this past weekend, Daddy taught me how to climb the stairs (much to Mommy's dismay).  Now, if I see that the gate going into the hallway is open, I make a mad dash to the stairs.

I'm becoming braver about taking steps.  I attempt to take a few steps a couple times a day now.  The most I've taken is 4.
