First Professional Portraits

I am 5 weeks old today, and I had my first professional photographs made today at JC Penney. I decided that it was best that I sleep through the photographs, though. I'd hate to have my eyes open when the big flash goes off on the camera. Well, the photographer did manage to get two shots of me with my eyes partly open, but they're not the greatest pictures in the world. :)

One Month Today

I am a month old today! I went to the doctor and he said I weigh 9 pounds and 10 ounces, and I'm 21 1/8 inches long. I'm growing really fast! He couldn't believe I'd grown so much, especially since Mommy is only feeding me breast milk. I also got my second Hepatitis shot today. I didn't like that at all, but I got over it pretty quickly. I've been a pretty content baby the rest of the afternoon.

Mother's Day

Today was Mother's Day and I went to church for the first time! Mommy and Daddy took me to the church where Great Nannie Ruby goes to church. I was such a good baby and behaved the whole service! Everyone wanted to hold me and then after church people just kept coming to Great Nannie's house to see me. After we left Great Nannie's house we went to Granny & Papaw Porter's house. I'm really not sure what they want to be called, so I'll call them that until they tell me what to call them. While there, for the first time I saw my Great Granny Holley, Uncle John, Aunt Rose, & Cousin Hannah. Later that evening we went back home, and I was such a good baby on the ride back. I slept the whole way!

First trip to Abingdon

I took my first long trip today! Grandfather came down and picked up me and Mommy & took us up to Great Nannie Ruby's house. I slept the whole way!
