I've Had my 6 Month Shots!

I had my 6 month shots last Thursday. Included in those shots, I got a flu shot.  I guess I should consider myself lucky to have gotten one, with the shortage and all.  It made me very cranky on Friday, though.

I'm 6 Months Old!

Yesterday was my half birthday!  For my half birthday, Mommy and Daddy took me to Picture People to have my picture taken.  The pictures didn't turn out nearly as well as Mommy and Daddy would have liked and they were really expensive, so they only got the free 8 x 10 and one extra 8 x 10.  Mommy's going to take me to JC Penney and get them taken again so that my grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives can have one.

I had such a busy day yesterday, with all the running we did, that I didn't want to sleep last night.  I kept waking up during the night.  It got to the point that Mommy took me into the spare bedroom and slept with me in there.  I slept a little better, but I still wallowed Mommy most of the night

As you should know (from reading my previous blog postings), I am now crawling.  I also am pulling up on things like the coffee table, my crib, the dog, Mommy, Daddy, and any other thing I can get my little hands on.  I also have figured out how to wave good bye and hello.  I only do it on occasion, though.

Played with Brother This Morning

I was so happy this morning when Brother (aka Allex - the dog) wanted to play tag with me.  He made me laugh so hard!  He would crouch down in front of me and howl to get my attention.  Then when I'd start to reach for him, he'd take off running around the coffee table.  Then he'd come back for more.  Mommy thought it was really funny, too.  He played with me for 3 or 4 minutes!

Last night Mommy & I did DDR for a few minutes. I liked watching the arrows go up the screen.  Then when Mommy put me down so she could do a couple rounds by herself, I crawled back to the pad for more. :)

I've had a pretty good week at daycare this week.  Nothing especially noteworthy has happened though.  It's just been an averagely good day.

I've Been Ill

Well, I haven't felt ill, but I apparently had a virus last week that left me with a splotchy rash.  It covers me from my head to my feet.  It doesn't bother me, though.  Other than a slightly runny nose, I'm perfectly fine. 

I'm trying my best to walk.  I'd rather try to pull up on things as to crawl.  Mommy left me in my crib for a minute while she got my clothes out of the dyer.  When she came back, I was holding onto the crib railing and just grinning from ear to ear at my accomplishment.

Bad Day at Daycare

Yesterday was a really bad day.  Mommy forgot to leave my paci with me at daycare.  I couldn't go to sleep without it.  I wasn't feeling great to start with, either.  My nose is all snotty and I can't breathe.  I didn't sleep well the night before, either.

But, once I got home, I got a 3 hour nap and then we went to eat.  I played with the cups at dinner and my toy keys.  I was happy.
