13 Months and Growing!

I have been a very busy girl since I last posted...

I have traveled all the way to Virginia to attend a family reunion. I had a really fun time swimming in the big pool and playing with my cousins.

I have sampled more table foods, feed myself finger foods and drink from a sippy. Some of my favorites foods are: oatmeal, apple sauce, chicken poppers, baked potatoes, cherrios, yogurt, ice cream, animal crackers, sweet potatoes, okra, bread, bananas....Mommy and daddy keep trying to trick me and get me to eat green beans but I DON'T LIKE THEM!

I have really enjoyed all the cake this month as we have celebrated many August birthdays.

I attended a church picnic and loved bouncing around in the inflatable bouncer.

I am talking all kinds of gibberish that sounds like a foreign language. I can however say some words pretty good like mama, dada, byby, bay(bailey), baba(bottle), hi, ball, nana, dis(this?), dink(drink).

I can respond to commands like throw the ball, get a book, blow on your food, comb your hair, play patty cake and ring around the rosie, find dora, blow kisses and NO (I don't like that word).

I am into everything...cabinets, closets, drawers, stairs, etc...so most of the time I am fenced in the family room which is okay because I can play with my toys. I LOVE TO PLAY!
